Let’s tell your story.

An excellent reel is crucial to auditioning successfully. Unfortunately, the process of gathering footage for a reel is incredibly impractical and frustrating: hoping you get cast in something you like, hoping the footage actually showcases you at your fullest potential, hoping you get that footage in a timely manner, and hoping you can cut it all together into a mini-documentary about you.

At Red Reel, we help you side-step all of this. At this point in your career, casting directors aren't super concerned with any major credits you have. They just need a living, breathing headshot: you doing your best work on screen. That's where we come in.

How it works.

  • Pre-Production.

We’ll schedule an initial meeting to understand your needs and goals, what your ideal reel will look like, your strengths, and a clear game plan.

Then, our team will write three 2-minute scenes from scratch, based on your exact specifications, and rewrite them until you have exactly what you need to succeed.

We’ll hold several rehearsals and coaching sessions so you feel ready and confident for your shoot day.

  • The Shoot.

We’ll then secure shoot locations, cast your reel (based on a cast list that you approve), hire the crew, and coordinate all shoot logistics.

Our team will film all three scenes in a single day, usually an 8 to 10 hour shoot. All you have to do is show up and kill it!

We’ll edit your footage together, including several rounds of your notes and feedback, until you’re thrilled with your reel.

  • Post.

    Our collaboration doesn’t end there.

With your fresh reel in hand, we'll meet again to help you strategize and pursue your goals to the fullest, offering insight and guidance on how to approach the industry, actively seek representation, audition successfully, and put yourself in the best possible position to succeed.
